Saharsa is set to have five new flyovers built by the central government.

Central government has announced to build 5 new flyover in the Saharsa city. In the state, city is unfortunately famous for its traffic jam due to the increase in number of automobile.

The state govt had send the proposal to the central government for the project and finally it has been approved by the govt. All the expenses of there 5 ROB will be beard by the Indian Railway.

List of Newly Approved Flyover in Saharsa

• Hatia Gachi Dhala (Saharsa Jn – Punia section)
• Polytechnic Dhala (Saharsa Jn – Punia section)
• Gangajal Chowk (Saharsa Jn – Forbesganj section)
• Kachari Dhala (Saharsa Jn – Forbesganj section)
• Shivpuri Dhala (Saharsa Jn – Forbesganj section)

Recently, the Central government approved a flyover at Shankar Chowk, it is one of the most controversial flyovers which have been not constructed for a very long time according to the reports the foundation stone of the flyover has been put more than 7 times but still it has not been started yet this time government is looking passionate and aggression to build Shankar Chowk flyover as soon as possible. DPR of the project has been also approved by the government soon construction work for the flyover will begin.

People have hope that the city will now be free from the traffic jam and there can be a destination at the right time.
