Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to the bank accounts of farmers. More than 9 crore 70 lakh farmers received an amount of Rs 20,500 crore. PM Narendra Modi sent Samman Nidhi to farmers from Varanasi. Bhopal (MP), 03 August 2025.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that our government is constantly working for the prosperity of farmers. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi was started in the year 2019. Under the scheme, Rs 4.75 lakh crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of farmers. Prime Minister Shri Modi said this in the program of transferring the amount of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to the bank accounts of farmers organized in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. He transferred the honor amount of Rs 20,500 crore to more than 9 crore 70 lakh farmers as the 20th installment. Also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 2,183 crore focused on education, healthcare, infrastructure and farmer welfare.

Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is making farmers economically strong:

Minister Aindl Singh Kanshana Madhya Pradesh’s Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Aindl Singh Kanshana virtually participated in the program organized on PM Kisan Diwas at Krishi Upaj Mandi Karond. Minister Shri Kanshana said that the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was implemented by the Central Government in February 2019. Under this, financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is provided in a year to make farmers economically strong.

Today, 2 August has again brought prosperity for all of us because we are celebrating this day as PM Kisan Diwas. The successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, whose slogan is Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, is taking the country forward. As the 20th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, out of the amount of Rs 20,500 crore given to about 9 crore 70 lakh farmers of India, an amount of Rs 7,39 crore is being deposited directly in the accounts of 87 lakh 93 thousand farmers of Madhya Pradesh from Banaras. Earlier, an amount of Rs 3.69 lakh crore has been given to 10 thousand crore farmers from Kisan Samman Nidhi. Minister Aindlal Singh Kanshana said that this Samman Nidhi is not only economic capability for the farmers but also their respect.

On 2 August 2025, programs are being organized as PM Kisan Diwas at the state level, district level, development block level, and gram panchayat level in all the states of the country. In this sequence, we all have gathered. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt best wishes on behalf of Prime Minister Shri Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He appealed to walk step by step towards strengthening the country and the state. Secretary Agriculture Mr. Nishant Barbade, Director Mr. Ajay Gupta, Managing Director Mandi Board Mr. Kumar Purushottam, public representatives and a large number of farmers participated in the program.
