Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Bihar’s capital city of Patna launched a severe critical of the Narendra Modi-led govt. at the Centre and the Nitish Kumar-led state govt. of Bihar.
The leader also criticised Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, accusing him of opposing the caste-based census in the country. Rahul Gandhi said, “The RSS leadership, particularly Mohan Bhagwat, has consistently stood against the idea of a caste census, which is crucial for ensuring social justice and equitable development.”
The statement comes with growing demands across political lines for a nationwide caste census, which many parties see as a vital step toward policy planning and social equity.
